Leeks with sesame
A typical side dish of Chinese cuisine: just brown the leeks, shallots, shiitake mushrooms and sesame in a pan. Delicious with meat or rice. try also this wild and levistic garlic cream recipe too.
Ingredients
Side dish For 4 people
600 g of leeks
2 shallots
200 g of shiitake mushrooms
2 tablespoons of sesame oil
1 tablespoon of sesame seeds
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 dl of broth
80 g of mung bean sprouts
1 teaspoon of Sichuan pepper, in specialty stores

How to proceed
Preparation: approx. 20 minutes
Cut the leeks into slightly oblique slices, the shallots into wedges. Divide the mushrooms into four parts. Heat the oil in a pan and brown the mushrooms, leeks, shallots and sesame seeds over medium heat for approx. 5 minutes. Add the soy sauce, broth, sprouts and pepper.
